Cewl custom password list

Welcome to hacking a rise i am the laughing man and today im going to show you the basics of Cewl for building custom word lists ..

What is Cewl

CeWL is a ruby app which spiders a given url to a specified depth, optionally following external links, and returns a list of words which can then be used for password crackers such as John the Ripper.hash cat etc ….

How to use Cewl

Right lads lets get started type in terminal cewl --help

now lets make a simple word list with cewl so type cewl hackingarise.com -w /root/Desktop/wordlist1.txt

now we can use the -m to only get the words with a min of 10 letters just type cewl -m 10 -w /root/Desktop/wordlist2.txt -d 0 -v https://hackingarise.com

next we move on to –debug so type cewl -m 10 -w /root/Desktop/wordlist3.txt -d 0 -v https://hackingarise.com --debug

ok now say we want to get the emails of the site we are making are wordlists from wel cewl can do that with these command the first command is a basic email list
cewl https://hackingarise.com -e --email_file /root/Desktop/emails.txt
and this one is so no words are added to the list only emails
cewl https://hackingarise.com -e -n --email_file /root/Desktop/emails.txt



right lads thats a few basic commads to get you started with making wordlists with cewl now what ya wanna do is merge them all together we can do this with the cat command just type cd Desktop/ then cat wordlist1.txt wordlist2.txt wordlist3.txt > allwordlists.txt

final thoughts

Well lads i wont lie i use cewl all the time i find its a great fucking tool for making ur wordlists it as more to offer than crunch all tho u can pipe crunch with aircrack and other tools this spiders the site and get all words and emails but look its handy if the site aint running cloud flare like are one is hahahhaa enjoy lads and remember the best tool we got is are brain we make in impossible possible we are hackers
