Welcome back to another post and today we’ll be looking at the tool urlcrazy, this tool is used to:
Generate and test domain typos and variations to detect and perform typo squatting, URL hijacking, phishing, and corporate espionage. So basically find fake domains aha

Using urlcrazy
Now we will take a look at the commands by typing in your terminal urlcrazy -h and here we can see them, there are very little.
Well now we can run a scan, we just type urlcrazy intrex.com and we can see a whole bunch of results pop up –
Awesome! Now we are going to use the popularity option by adding -p to our command like this urlcrazy -p intrex.com now lets see what it does –
As you can see it adds a column to the result called pop it will have numbers down this column displaying the popularity with the Google index.
Installing urlcrazy
All urlcrazy needs is ruby to run, but you should already have these on your Linux systems or you should have urlcrazy already installed assuming you have Kali or Parrotsec(os I use)just go to Github here – https://github.com/urbanadventurer/urlcrazy
Or git clone https://github.com/urbanadventurer/urlcrazy.git and continue through with installation.
